In 2011 the love of my life proposed to me. Like most brides to be, I quickly started my wedding day Pinterest boards, frantically trying to decide what I wanted for a bouquet, and came across paper flowers in my search. My big day was in nearly two years so I had plenty of time to master the art making paper flowers. And when the time came, they did not disappoint.
Two years after my wedding, friends and family asked if I would make paper flowers for their décor needs. I tested the waters on Facebook to see if there was a market for what I was able to create, and it turns out there are plenty of people who go gaga over handcrafted paper décor. And that's how this skill turned into more than just a hobby - it's my passion.
Paper flowers are an affordable elegance that can be used for weddings, keepsakes, gifts, and home décor. I craft every creation petal by petal to ensure every piece is unique and personalized, making any occasion extra special.
A small town girl at heart, I love helping people and making personal connections. By day I work in the insurance industry. By night I can put on my creative hat as a paper florist and crafter. I fell into this business by making paper flowers for my own special day. I started offering this skill as way to help brides have a beautiful day on a budget, but it's begun to turn into something more. I believe everyone should have affordable options for beautiful décor.
When I'm not working or crafting, you can find me playing Final Fantasy, watching anime, or learning how to read Harry Potter in French. Animals are the best - I have the most spoiled four fishies in Winnipeg. And although I don't have any yet, I love kids and can't wait to one day own a home out in the country with my husband to raise our babies and fur babies.
